Internships

The Infoscitex Foundation is committed to advancing the higher education of math, science and technology in the United States and this Foundation’s awardees shall be eligible to contribute to this mission via summer internships at Infoscitex Corporation.

On behalf of the Foundation, Infoscitex Corporation provides a substantive learning experience that serves as a basis for interns to explore their career options and to develop professional skills. Internships are offered during the summer of the award and may lead to subsequent internships.

Prospective interns are those who have received a Foundation scholarship. Interns are expected to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, as mutually agreed upon.

Massachusetts Science Fair

The Infoscitex Foundation has established a partnership with the Massachusetts State Science and Engineering Fair (MSSEF) to jointly accomplish the basic mission of nurturing today’s Junior and Senior High School students to pursue educational and career paths in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The MSSEF has an outstanding record in this regard and has invited the Foundation to help it reach its goal of increasing the level of participation by highly motivated and talented students from Massachusetts in MSSEF programs. Ideally, this will begin at the Junior High School level, or earlier, in order to introduce the students to Inquiry Based Learning techniques at the earliest possible stage in their professional development. As a result, we believe students participating in this program will become strongly motivated and encouraged to pursue careers in STEM disciplines and to extend their passion for STEM to others. The objective of the MSSEF is to make STEM an integral part of student’s professional lives. The MSSEF strongly encourages sponsorship of this program through donations at various funding levels, as described on their web site. The Infoscitex Foundation is committed to supporting the MSSEF in the following ways:

  • Scholarships awards to those students selected by MSSEF’s judges as winners of local and state Massachusetts Science and Engineering Fairs
  • Internships at Infoscitex Corporation to highly motivated and talented students selected from the pool of scholarship awardees
  • Mentoring Science Fair participants

The Foundation invites you to participate in the activities of the MSSEF. For more information about the Foundation’s partnership with the MSSEF, please contact Stu Haber, President of the Infoscitex Foundation at 781-890-1338 x227 or at shaber@infoscitex.com
